Dignitate = Dignity
At the heart of our identity as Zambians is entrenched the notion that we ALL have ‘…. dignity and peace ‘neath Zambia’s sky’. It is this idea that all Zambians have inherent dignity, that has drawn the Dignitate Zambia together to seek the realization of recognition of human rights for all Zambians, especially the ones whose rights have been denied. This is the fire that propels all that we do at Dignitate Zambia.
“Because we are worth it!”

"Love for others and respect for their rights and their human dignity, irrespective of who or what they are, no matter what religion or none – that they choose to follow, will bring about real change and set in motion proper relationships. With such relationships built on equality and trust, we can work together on so many of the threats to our common humanity – Mairead Corrigan"
"If people can learn to hate they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite. – Nelson Mandela "
"You can’t be Human all by yourself, and when you have this quality “UBUNTU” you are known for your generosity. We think of ourselves far too frequently as just individuals, separated from one another, whereas you are connected and what you do affects the whole world – Desmond Tutu"
